BLOODLINE & PEDIGREE
Heritage carried forward.
Stallion Kamyar® represents an Asil Egyptian Arabian pedigree rooted
in established bloodlines and a maternal line tracing to Rodania.
His pedigree is more than a record of names. It is the foundation
from which type, heritage and breeding decisions can be understood.

The Maternal Line
Rooted in the Rodania family.
Stallion Kamyar®’s maternal line traces to Rodania, one of the historic mare families associated with the Kuhaylan Ajuz strain.
This maternal heritage is an important part of Kamyar’s identity. It places his pedigree within a line that has been preserved through generations and gives the female family a central role in understanding his breeding background.
For Kamyar, the maternal line is not simply a sequence of names in a pedigree. It represents continuity — a connection between ancestry, type and the breeding decisions carried forward through the female family.

The Sire Line
A paternal line shaped through DF Siraj.
Stallion Kamyar® is sired by DF Siraj, forming the paternal side of a pedigree that combines established Arabian bloodlines with Kamyar’s distinct individual expression.
The sire line is an important part of understanding the structure behind Kamyar’s pedigree. It provides the paternal framework through which ancestry, type and breeding continuity can be traced across generations.
Rather than presenting the sire line as a list of names alone, this section places DF Siraj within the wider pedigree context and shows how the paternal ancestry contributes to the overall breeding identity of Stallion Kamyar®.

The Dam Line
The female family behind Stallion Kamyar®.
Stallion Kamyar® is out of DF Karimah, whose maternal ancestry forms the direct female line leading back to Rodania.
This dam line is central to understanding Kamyar’s pedigree. It connects the individual horse with a maternal family that has been carried forward through successive generations and remains an important part of his breeding identity.
The female line gives the pedigree continuity. It is where ancestry, maternal heritage and the long-term preservation of a breeding family become especially visible.

Pedigree Overview
The structure behind the bloodline.
The pedigree of Stallion Kamyar® brings the paternal and maternal lines together in one complete breeding picture.
It allows the ancestry to be read not as isolated names, but as a structured lineage in which sire line, dam line and maternal family connect across generations.
For breeders, this overview provides the foundation for understanding where Kamyar comes from — and for evaluating how his pedigree may interact with the bloodlines of a selected mare.

Asil Egyptian Heritage
A pedigree defined by origin and continuity.
Stallion Kamyar® is recorded as an Asil Egyptian Arabian, with his pedigree tracing through established Egyptian Arabian bloodlines and a maternal family connected to the Kuhaylan Ajuz Rodan strain.

Breeding Relevance
A pedigree becomes meaningful in the pairing.
The value of a pedigree is not found in names alone, but in how those bloodlines are considered in relation to a specific mare.
For Stallion Kamyar®, breeding decisions begin with the individual mare — her pedigree, maternal family, conformation, characteristics and the objective of the proposed mating.
The purpose is not to reproduce a pedigree on paper. The purpose is to identify combinations in which heritage, type and breeding intention can complement one another in a meaningful way.
This is why mares for the 2027 breeding season are reviewed individually before any breeding arrangement is considered.

Selected Offspring
Bloodlines carried into the next generation.
The breeding relevance of a stallion becomes visible not only in his pedigree, but also in the offspring that carry his blood forward.
Selected offspring of Stallion Kamyar® illustrate how his pedigree continues into the next generation through different mares, breeding objectives and individual combinations.
Each offspring represents a separate mating decision — and a different expression of the genetic and breeding context behind Stallion Kamyar®.

Oriental Star
A different breeding direction. A clear continuation.
Oriental Star is an Anglo-Arabian stallion born in 2023, by DF Kamyar out of The Firefly xx by Shirocco.
This pairing brings Kamyar’s Arabian heritage into a deliberately different breeding context. The result is not intended to repeat the sire, but to combine distinct qualities from both parental lines within a new individual.
As a 50% Anglo-Arabian, Oriental Star demonstrates how Stallion Kamyar® can contribute to a breeding concept beyond the pure Arabian context while maintaining a clear connection to his paternal bloodline.
For us, this is exactly what makes offspring evaluation meaningful: not uniformity, but the ability to understand how a stallion’s qualities may express themselves through different mares and breeding objectives.

VA Khalid Ibn Kamyar
Arabian heritage carried forward.
VA Khalid Ibn Kamyar is an Arabian Thoroughbred (ox) stallion born in 2020 and sired by DF Kamyar.
As a direct son of Kamyar, he represents a continuation of the Arabian breeding line in a purebred context. His place within the selected offspring section shows how Kamyar’s pedigree is carried forward through the next generation while developing its own individual expression.
For breeding evaluation, offspring such as VA Khalid Ibn Kamyar are important because they allow the sire line to be considered not only through pedigree records, but through the actual horses produced from individual matings.

Bella Donna
A female continuation of Kamyar’s bloodline.
Bella Donna is an Arabian Thoroughbred (ox) mare born in 2022 and sired by DF Kamyar.
As a daughter of Kamyar, she represents the continuation of his bloodline through the female line of the next generation. Her place within the selected offspring section adds another perspective to the breeding picture: not only how Kamyar’s pedigree appears in sons, but also how it is carried forward through a daughter.
For breeding evaluation, this matters because daughters can become an important part of future maternal families and may carry the influence of the sire into subsequent generations.
